• Notes

  According to the 1911 Census, Victoria's father, Arthur W Francis, was born in the USA, although his parents were British. Her mother, Annie, was born in Croydon. She had three brothers, William, Arthur and Alfred and two sisters, Annie and Maggie. Victoria's father was a House Decorator and the family appears to have moved around a lot as each of the children were born in different areas of Sussex and Surrey.
