  The Carlow C. of I. parish Registers show Joseph Fishbourne's death at age 46 in 1826. He therefore fits into the family of William Fishbourne and Alice Moore. However there is no additional evidence to support the view that he is part of this family, nor is there another family into which he obviously fits. There is an Admon dated 1829 (NA Ref. IAR/1829/F/1, Doc. ID 23135) which gives as executor Elizabeth Fishbourne of Cooper Hill. This suggests that Eliza Cooper married this Joseph Fishbourne, who was the younger brother of Robert Moore Fishbourne, and not the one b. 1803, who was Robert's son. There is a Marriage Licence entry for this couple in 1825 in the Diocese of Dublin.
