  	James Cotell was murdered by his wife, Agnes, with the aid of two yeomen of Heytesbury. Agnes then married Sir Edward immediately after burning her husband's body in the kitchen furnace. After Edward's death, proceedings were taken against her and her accomplices. She, and one of the yeomen, was hanged at Tyburn on February 20th 1524.
