• Notes

  Annie was a Ladies Maid to a Miss Pearson and was referred to as 'Corcoran' by her. Joan Wood has letters from a Miss Pearson who greatly loved Annie for her loyal services. Annie apparently suffered during the menopause and was in St John's Institution (Islington) at a cost of £1 per week. She was certified 'unsound mind' on 24/11/1920 and committed to Banbury Asylum. She died there on 21/12/1920 aged 52.
