  The name of Corporal Frank Wykes, 17 Warwicks, son of Mr. G. Wykes, 29 Victoria Street Nuneaton has to be added to the list of the brave dead. His father has received letters from his other son Lce Cpl Algernon Wykes, and from Clp Bugler T Parsons, another comrade of the Warwicks, stating that Frank was killed in the heavy fighting on the 14th inst. Mr Wykes’ two sons who were employed in the Railway Loco Sheds both volunteered for service at the outbreak of war and went to France sixteen months ago.
